on things forbidden...
Sunday, September 28, 2008

so I was at the dentist on Friday, and had a conversation with my always chatty/gossipy hygienist about adultery/affairs...   well, as much of a convo as one can have getting his teeth cleaned...   so she went on and on for 45 minutes about friends and acquaintances who were having affairs...  husbands, wives, co-workers...   pretty much everyone...    how she was hit on constantly by her male patients...    which led me to think on the drive home - how much of affairs are people seeking what they are missing...   and how much of them are simply us doing what society makes it the norm to not do (think interracial, older/younger, cheating, etc)...    so, guilty and curious alike, what do you think?

Forbidden......depends on whom you are speaking to.  Birds do it.....bees do it.....we all need to do it.  If you say you don't you are lieing.  Guilty.....yes.  Curious.....yes.  Eager.....most definately yes.  I am interested in this "donut coffee" thing you speak about......wanna exchange email addresses and further delve into this subject ?  = )

meh... so much is put into 'cheating, affairs' and so forth.

Alls I can say is... if it works for you?  why not?  Your partner should know who you're coming home to.  In the end... is'nt that what should count the most?

Obviously those who complain about it, are ones who are quite positive that they're missing out on something in their partnership, and those who whine about it, are just not giving enough.  The complaining about it is their own guilt showing through.
