Well, it's been a long, long time, but I should be around a little more now. Dave is about 90% better now. He went back to work Monday, and seems to be doing all right. It's so nice to have him feeling more like himself.   As for me, they hired a new girl at work, which has changed my hours. I'm now just working Saturday and Sunday mornings from 8-3, and Monday night 3-10......sucks on the paycheck, but is giving me one extra day a week to get things done around the house and yard.  So, all in all, we're doing good and things are looking up.  I wanted to thank everyone here for all the well wishes and prayers! You all are truly wonderful friends, and I'm so thankful to each and every one of you for being who you are! Luv y'all!!!!!  I'll be seeing you in chat! 

 Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes! I had a a good day. Been so busy trying to keep up with everything around the house and yard and work and it's still not all done..lol.....I'll get there eventually. As for Dave, he's doing a little better, no longer has the burning sensation in his spine, just the muscles in his neck are still all tensed up. He's getting there slowly, but surely. Still going to therapy 3 times a week and is still off work as of now. Sorry I haven't been around much, need more hours in a day, seems there's never enough time for much of anything. I miss all of y'all more than you know, and hopefully I'll get some time soon to come in for a visit. Y'all take care and know that y'all are always in my thoughts, prayers and heart! Luvs yas!

   Yep, still alive. LOL! Just been really busy still seeing how Dave can't do much. He had the last round of injections in his neck Tuesday, so hopefully he'll be feeling better soon, but the doctors say it could take up to a year before he's fully recovered. He's still out of work and going to PT 3 times a week. But the last injections he got before this time took about 70% of the burning out of his spine, so we're hopeful that he'll be feeling better, still sore from the procedure though which is normal, so we'll see in the next few days how he's feeling. As for me, I'm doing as well as I can given the circumstances. Just always busy with too much to do and never enough time to do it in. Been very tiring, but Dave's well worth it. Haven't been able to get on here much, so I wanted to let everyone know that we're both still alive and breathing and doing the best we can. I miss all y'all bunches!      Wow, feels like it's been forever since I've been on here. Had a moment to get on here so I thought I'd give an update on what's been going on with us. For those of you who didn't know, my husband was in a car accident back before Christmas. He will be all right, thank God! He just has been having trouble with his neck and has been out of work since March. He got a real bad case of whiplash which has caused his spine to curve the opposite way than it's suppose to at the base of his skull. He's been going to physical therapy 3 times a week since January. He's had so many tests run on him and they finally found that he has a problem with his nerves in his neck which has been causing his discomfort. Nothing is broken or fractured, just a couple of bulged discs, which according to the doctors is not too bad. He won't have to have any kind of surgery, but he does have to go for injections in his neck. He had his first injection this past Tuesday, and it went real well. Of course he was quite sore on Tuesday, but he has notice some improvement. They're injecting a nerve blocker in a series of 3 shots, and each shot has to be 2 weeks apart, so this is going to continue through the end of May. The doctors seem real optimistic, and said this should help get him back on the right track. Though there will be certain things he can no longer do that he enjoys doing, i.e. riding dirt bikes, four wheelers, anything that causes serious vibration to his neck, or looking up for long periods of time, I'm so thankful that he's not injured more seriously. He has been on light duty, no heavy lifting, which has put a lot more work on me so that's why I haven't been around much. Between working at work and working around the house I haven't had much time for myself, and I'm not complaining, I'd give my life for Dave, he's my whole world. Hopefully these injections will do the trick and we can get back to a somewhat normal life and routine. This all happened on work time, he was on the road for work, so workman's comp and car insurance has been paying all the medical bills, his wages, gas mileage for all his appointments, and they've been paying me a day because he can't do things around the house, kind of like a care givers fee. We do have a lawyer involved just to make sure that he is getting all that he is entitled to. So, between doctors appointments, work, talking to the lawyer, taking care of the household and P.T. appointments we've been pretty busy with not much time for fun things. We have so many wonderful friends here at SA, and I just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing as well as we can considering the circumstances. When things calm down a bit, I'll be around a bit more. I miss all of you and the fun times in chat, and thank all of you for being such wonderful friends. See y'all soon hopefully! Luvs yas!
