We all need Santa no matter who we are.. We come here to SA to fulfill our wishes in our lives. We as people are for the most part are a "gregarious species" and enjoy that we control our view that we present to fellow SA members. We are allowed to express our feelings and thoughts in a way that we choose, this is not always possible in our crowded and hurried way of life that is ours. Our fantasies can be of our choosing. Is this not the same as a child sitting on Santa's lap, telling him of his or hers dreams and desires?

I stopped a the Post Office on a warm fall day a couple weeks ago. I was on my motorcycle getting ready to leave when an Old Gentleman with a cane paid me a compliment about my bike and how nice it was. I asked him if he would like a ride... He replied that he had never been on a motorcycle and that he was tempted. With a bit of encouragement and some help with his stiff leg he was on behind me for his first ride. We went for a few blocks and when I got him back to his car he was just beaming over how "wonderful" it had been. He thanked me repeatedly and I went on my way. I felt wonderful myself for the simple act that did him and myself a world of good.
A Cranberry as any day can be relatively dull and even sour... A simple act of kindness to another person can sweeten the day and transform it into a very savory dish that we can relish in our memories... A Question of Civilization...
