Training to complete a marathon second attempt at bucket list

We all have things on our bucket list,,, an finishing a marathon has been on mine since i was a teenager... oddly enough I didnt try to complete this lofty task when I was young an in really good shape no I decided to make it really tuff by getting alot older an gaining way too much weight.. ok so that was never part of the plan either but that is where i find myself...
Earliar this year ( feb ) wow seems like a lifetime ago I attempted my first marathon it was an epic struggle but I learned alot an I was able to go 13.1 miles in 4 hours my goal was 26.2 miles in 7 hours or less as you can see I didnt get it done.. but alas this sunday is the official start of my new training program for the second attempt at finishing a marathon I didnt kick the bucket last time was mighty sore but im still here so why not give it another shot.... I will keep yea all posted with weekly updates.... I hope yea all are enjoying yourself as we are almost officially in summer time :- ) ahh yes swimsuit an skirt season.. good times lol Ok thats all i got too tell yea all about today !!! Mehungry can call me Mike LAST DAY of VIP status ( temporaily )

It snuck up on me .. wow ... these past two months have gone by so quickly, I have enjyed VIP status.. .. There were many things I liked about the status but none bigger then the EMAIL an Instant Messenger !! I will miss those alot but will only be fore a short time an I will still be here but I will get my shiny star back soon....

Well tonigt I did learn that one yet again,,,, some friends invited me out to the dog trac for a friendly get together.... well I though why not with kentucky derby ,,, going on might be fun...
Well got there had no idea who i wanted too pick... kept lookin at program an then thought nothing is saying bet me pick me so i started to read the names of the horses.. .mind you I know nothing about horses an what to pick... an saw the name animal kingdom... was thinking well I live near orlando where animal kingdom is so that is the horse i should bet my program said it was 30 - 1 odds im like yea that the ticket if your gonna bet why not make it a longshot,, yea never know .. an i was sittin outside waiting for friends to arrive thinkin I got lots of time an before i know it i hear over the PA them calling the race... im like oh no i didnt get to make my bet... but thought ahh what are the odds ... 30 - 1 lol ... well dang gum it guess who won.. yep I would of won about 0 cause odds lowered at post time... yep I hesitated an i lost ,, ,bummer but all was not lost I hit a trifecta later that night an it piad for night out so i came home even steven so may he who hesitates loses but he who waits good things come ... but still wish i would of made that first bet lol HAPPY MOTHERS DAYS to one n all !!! Thank you for B-day wishes :-) Yea all are AWESOME

As an Auburn fan... I was sadden when i heard news of the Massive Torando that hit Tuscaloosa (sp) Alabama Not only was the city hit hard but the University of Alabama appears to also been hit very hard... this is horrible... an even worse is there are reports of loss of life... this is a sad day not just for BAMA fans but the entire state n country... I know many southern states are dealing with bad weather.. all are in my thoughts n prayers.. .The people of ALABAMA are strong an I know they will recover but it will be no easy chore so I say ROLL TIDE ,,,
