I thought I would start this topic here; so we can attract a wide range of people, from newbies, to long standing members who can share why they chose SexyAds, and why they keep coming back.

I have many reasons; #1 being the hands-on approach of the staff & owners. The interaction between them and the members is not something you find on other adult sites.

being somewhat a novice at the internet world i desperatley wanted a site where i could be my self and meet other ts women and men who adore us.. i tried several different sites and happened upon sexyads about four years ago.. i have found it to be the best site of all .. i am able to chat ... browse.. and reply to emails.. for free!!!!   i have been allowed the freedom to express myself.. and even disagree with the opinions of other users.. i applaude and appreciate the creators of sexyads.. aussies rule!!  thatk you so much from myself and im sure all ts gurls who frequent your site.. .. bigdds

I have been home here at Sexy Ads for atleast 5 years or more, so long that I can't hardly remember not being here and it's become sort of a home away from home for me. I have made many friends here, some sexual, mostly dear friends who make me smile each day.

I guess I found and joined SexyAds in 2003 , I don’t quite recall… Time flies when you’re having fun!!!

Being the Horndog, errr, umm, make that “Regular Guy” that I am, and spending a lot of time traveling, I thought it would be a great way to find a little company while on the road…

It wasn’t but a month or two before I upgraded my membership to VIP…

It wasn’t like the other “Dating sites” I’d seen… The people were friendly, open and honest, oh yeah, did I mention Smokin’ Hot? I spent tons of time browsing profiles and e-mailing other members, looking for “Hook Ups” when a funny thing happened… I found the Forums…

Having a rather obtuse sense of Humor, and being a touch “Opinionated” ( “a touch,”… LOL! I’m gonna pay for that , I’m sure!), many of the Forum Threads were a perfect fit for me, and I began to feel right at home…

The more I got to know the People in the Forums, I started seeing the depth of personalities, the friendly nature of the people here, and the diversity of lifestyles and opinions… These weren’t “Just” people looking for a “Drive-by hook up”, but real people with the same Wants, Needs, Lusts, Kinks, problems, and feelings that I had… They were "Real" people!!!

I guess the easiest way to say it, is that I joined for the Porn, and a chance to find singles and couples to “get with”, but I ended up staying for the great Friendships and Banter of so many really great people I gotten to know so well!

I joined SexyAds in December 2003 and my first impressions was that of warmth and acceptance by all the members and staff that I met.  I instantly started making friends and was  welcomed by men and women.  Most of my friends from the early years are still here today and the ones who are not, are still in touch.  I love this site for all reasons and often refer it as being home.  The forums are fantastic, so is chat and all the contests. Members profiles are awesome and the photo galleries have the most beautiful pictures.  I love the tickles and all my emails.  It is still a joy to meet new members and hear from all my friends.  I tell all the new members I meet that they will love SexyAds and to enjoy and have fun.

I certainly agree with everyone's comments here........but I'd like to go back to Kiwi's original post about the interaction of the owners, Maureen and John.

You don't find that on other sites.....at least the ones I was on before here.

Many members here have offered some great suggestions to make the site better via the Sexyads Suggestion Box forum and since I've been here Feb 2005 at least 98% were carried through. The rest were not supported by the system at that time.

A hands on carrying site for everyone .  If a member has concerns the *help button* is there and you will get a reply (from a real person) !!

There's something for everyone; be it chat rooms, forums, contests, email, etc that it gets very addictive to check in daily

I joined when my marriage ended years ago, because I wanted to find a "friend with bennies" to be able to grab a beer with, watch a game together, or fuck like bunnies.  I am now obscenely happily married for almost two years, and I am STILL here.  Why?

The site is great.  It gives you what YOU want, any way you want it.  You can look for hook-ups of any kind, a long term relationship, cyber sex, or just companionship, and you have the chat rooms, video chat, forums, and blogs to have fun with.  And if you have a good suggestion, they'll add your feature!  Where else can you find such a complete package?

The owners (whom I've met) and staff are great people, and very involved with the site, as are the Mods.  Everybody is a REAL person - no BOTS or bullshit - and they genuinely CARE about the site and the folks here enjoying it.  You don't find that everywhere, believe me!  The members are real people, too, and great care is taken to weed out the ones who try to come in to make money, scam members, or make other folks miserable.

Everyone here is very accepting of other kinks, quirks, and lifestyles, which is great, as we all have our share!  John and Maureen realized that not everyone is so easily compartmentalized, and made this an all-encompassing place to be.  Most other sites cater to a specific genre, whereas here, everything goes, as long as it's legal!

Since joining this site forever ago, I have had quite a few dates.  Some of them went well, some not as well, but some I went out with several times.  I was in one romantic relationship for quite a while, and have remained friends with that gentleman.  I found the ideal "friends with bennies" that I was originally looking for, and still am friends with him and several of the guys I dated, even though I am no longer "on the market" and am not here for anything other than friendship.

I have made some great online friendships here, and have found the site to be a great source of advice when I've gone through problems, entertainment when I was blue, support when I have gone through some tough times, and cheerleading when something great happens.  Some of my very best friends in real life are people that I met originally through this site.

Its been 2 years since I have been on here and I have to say that this place was what I needed..My best gf got me on here before I even had a computer..I had been down on myself and didn't seem to want to do anything and she made me come on here and well the rest is history..I came out of my shell and its been the best thing that happened to me..

Hi All, This is Flame's response, I'm sure Gr8 will get his sexy ass in gear before too long and post his own reply.....I initially joined SA back in 2002 as a single girl a few years before I met Gr8. I used to spend a lot of time in the chat room, in the days before cams, and met some great people and had a few real life adventures....unfortunately I met a guy via this site who turned out to be a little less 'stable' than I might have wished and I disappeared for a while.

After Myself and Gr8 got together, we had a lot of fun taking photos and discussing our sexual fantasies, and when the time came to take it a step further, I remembered SA and we joined as a couple. Now the era of cams had begun and we dived in with a flourish!! I'm a gregarious extrovert (as many of you may have noticed...) and the cams allowed me to indulge my exhibitionism in a safe venue, and it allowed Gr8 (who really is quite shy) to hide behind hats and silly props until he became more comfortable! We found that if you were friendly and accepting of others they tended to be the same to you, and we soon found ourselves in chat on a weekly basis, making lots of friends worldwide and having the time of our lives.

Welcome Newbies!! I have been a member of this site for almost 10 years now- one of the lifers! I have had nothing but a wonderful experience being a member of this site. I have formed numerous real life friendships over my years here and continue to do so on an almost daily basis. I have made friends with people from all walks of life and people from all over the world. What a blessing this site has been!

I first came to this site ,what seems like a lifetime ago, when I found it in my now ex husbands history on our home pc. I was a total nitwit back then and completely computer illiterate. I could barely turn a computer on,much less navigate around the world wide web. I had never EVER been to such a site before , nor had I ever been to a chatroom! Once I found my way around , boy - was I in for a ride!LOL!

My first day at this site I was introduced to Maureen(one of the co-owners of this site in the bedroom chat. She was...NORMAL..nice and made me feel at home in the "lions den". I was really unsure what the chatroom was intended for and in all honesty, it was a bit scarey at first. People were openly and honestly discussing matters of a sexual nature ,mixed in with conversations that ran the gamut from their childrens recitals to a family members health issues. My fears eased and my fingers began to fly at breakneck speed across my keys. How refreshing it was to not have to edit myself and  be able express myself so freely.

I was newly divorced and going through a very stressful time .I used sexyads chat as my outlet during this difficult time. I was able to talk to people in similar situations and I was able to let my hair down. I will most likely continue to frequent this site into my 90's as it allows me to just be ME! I love goofing off with friends in chat and stirring up controversy and fun! While Mikey does not frequent this site any longer and hasn't since about the time we moved in together- he still observes my crazy antics in the chatroom when he sits next to me on the couch. Just a few years ago I'd never been on a site like this, never mind being a member...if I had found my way on it would usually be during a surf or a tawl or even just by "accident". I was like some little "naughty" schoolboy creeping about after having just discovered a porno mag for the first time, I could feel myself blushing, embarrassed and scared to death to do anything, never mind chat. All it would take was for somebody, anybody to use the dreaded phrase, "Hi, how are you"?, and I'd freak, panic, B.P. would go through the ceiling, my H.R. would exceed safe parameters and I'd Instantaneously hit the "panic button", "Eject! Eject!! EJECT!!! and disconect/come off line. Phew, that was close!

Of course I knew nothing of the wonders and mysteries of chat rooms, so based my opinions, zealous, fanaticaly perjoritive and  fervant dislike of them based on zero experience...like you do!

UNTIL...I met Flame and we properly became memebers of this site  just over a year ago! (I have to say I still wasn't convinced, having paid for and become members of a similar UK site which promised much but, and to be kind,..."SUCKED"!

Flame, having had much more experience of all this kind of thing, retook to it like a duck...(it helps at times to be a blatant and shameless exhibitionist!...Hard to believe eh? LOL!) so I let her type and I, to be honest, did "bugger-all"! I could hardly keep up with the machine gun like chat and what appeared to be like 10 conversations occuring simultaneously...to make things worse, "we" thought it might be a GLORIOUS Idea to purchase a cam!! FFS!! That was it...I ran away! (well, moved my chair back about 4 feet to get me out of the cams "all seeing eye"!)...and Flame was in her element! JEEZ!!

I'm not sure how it came about, but it wasn't all that long before "we'd" (Flame), found an Interesting, quick witted, Inteligent, well read, well travelled group of regulars/Veterans, (some of them were even Americans! True!!)...they made me literally, Laugh out loud! (The cam allowed you to speak and hear! AMAZING this here 21st Century Technology!!) We (and I Include myself under "we" now!) chatted about a vast array of subjects and topics (you wouldn't believe it!) and there was a vast exchange of knowledge...You might even say it was "educational"!

BUT I continued to stay out of the limelight (screen light) and remain in the shadows...UNTIL, I discovered a "prop" (a security blanket if you like)...Hat's!

I have a vast collection of hats of all sorts from around the "Universe", (yes, I collect hats! and YES, they "do it" for me! ahem...), I'd put one on and suddenly found I could appear on cam and it didnt "hurt" or bother me so much...it was a distraction, a mask and it worked! Now Flame and myself would fight to have control of the keyboard! (of course, I'd always lose, having been brought up to not hit woman with heavy blunt Instruments, Flame had no scruples with regard to that! I have witness's! LOL!!)

Like most things, the chat here and the laughs, fun and giggles you get from it are a "Product of Participation". plus manners, mutual respect and good ol' fashioned Honesty and openess! In otherwords, you get what you give and contribute...If you act like a "Troll" or a "Troglodyte" or are deceitful towards others, you'll find it doesn't take long for the "sharks", (usually woman, well nobody quite cuts to the bone with acid like insulting wit quite like a woman, in my opinion!) ), grouping around you and then tearing you apart! It 'aint pretty, but it's effective! The camaraderie in here is protective, safe, reasurring, comforting and a wonderous thing to behold. (The credit for creating this pleasant, lively atmosphere has to go to the Staff and Inventors of the site...Don't you just love Australlia! and of course the members of S.A.)

I have "met" some trully GREAT, MARVELLOUS, INTERESTING, FANTASTIC, DIFFERRENT, HONEST, WARM, OPEN, GENEROUS, THOUGHTFUL (Aye, and UNUSUAL!) people on here, (you know who you are?...YES, and you!) who I can disuss anything (and I mean anything!) with, without feeling embarrased, shy or threatened by (of varying ages, races, nationalities, colour and different sexual preferences who have changed my previously illinformed attitudes, prejudices and opinions...they educated me...and I feel better for it!)

Viva La Differrence!

My only hope/wish, is we can meet them all, sometime in the future, before I have to leave this planet and return to my own Solar System (but that's another story!)...we shall endeavour!

Wow, I got a message that I should read this forum and I'm overwhelmed.  Most of you know that Jayce and I met through a personal ad on the net in 1994.  We'd both been in previous relationships, or I should say, sexless previous relationships and neither of us wanted that again.

Over a glass of red wine one night, J said that maybe we weren't alone in that feeling and maybe there was a need for a sexy site to meet and make friends with real people who consider themselves sexy.  So the site has always been close to our hearts because we think of all of you being like us.
