I read through most of the posts here and while I hate "me too" posts..umm.. yeah me too to most of it.  I joined looking for some fun with people who were open about their sexuality and desires (and the sexy pics didn't hurt) and I reman because I found some amazing people who I care abut and who I know care about me.

I joined as a really "fem" gay guy who was questioning my gender identity.  The women and men in the Forums and the chats helped me to understand myself by simply listening and giving a crap.  For some reason the combination of people here did what I wasn't able to do on my own.  That is, become comfortable with my own body as it was, as it is, and as it could be. 

This site is so much more than "just" a date site if you allow it to be.  It is fun and sexy and naughty, but also kind and caring and amazingly nice.

Lovers come and go and sex is good and bad.. but the friends I have here will be forever.

I came here looking for something, I wasn't sure what... I had recently became single after 19 years when i first joined, and was thinking about "getting out there" again.     I have no idea why I  spent  $70 for a three month membership. I'm sure the owners of this website can use it. I don't think being *short* has anything to do with it captcool...I think it's all about attitude! You are new to being a VIP, good things don't always happen in one day. The women you write to, have you scanned their profiles, read their ad's? Does their profile show them as active? Women in general will reply to thought out emails, to emails that indicate someone has read their ad. Perhaps distance is a factor? You need to utilise all that the site has to offer, from the chat rooms, to here on the forum. Writing blogs, entering the photo comp, to contacting as many members as possible that fit the same criteria as yours. The effort you put in, is what you get back.

Pssst, it might also help if you wrote a well-thought-out-ad about yourself and what it is you seek from SexyAds.

Captcool - I don't think it has anything to do with you being 'short' ... it's probably more of the fact that 1) you've only been here a week or so; 2) you haven't filled out your profile so that the people you've reached out to can find out some more about you, your interests and what you're looking for that you may have not discussed in an email; 3) you didn't mention if you've joined in chat and introduced yourself and tried to get to know people there - which is a wonderful way to get to know people and allow others to get to know you; 4) and, not everyone responds to emails ... the people you reached out to, did you read their profiles carefully or just stumble on a pic that interested you?

The more you get yourself out there and take advantage of all this site has to offer the better the results ... and that is a fact!  Have fun ... and if you decide to come into chat say hi and bring your sense of humor and good personality - it will take you far here!  Good luck with your search and again, remember to HAVE FUN!  :-D

Ok, why did I choose Sexyads?????, lets see, it was just after they started the site, when I ran acrossed it on the web. Can't remember how or what I was looking for but there it was, so I clicked on it. My wife at the time and I were new to swinging and she had a few bi-sexual experiences under her belt. We dicided to enter the site as guest and "browse" the ads, we saw a few ppl we were interested in and their ad said the could usually be found in "bedroom" chat. Well........I had never been in a chatroom before and was a little apprehensive, what if I didn't fit in?, what if they were rude? what if there were pop up ads?, what about scams? Anyway I decided to peek in and just watch. OMG!!!!!! the welcome I got was overwhelming! ! ! ! the people there were just fantastic, so friendly, funny, and just fun. We met a cpl close to us, and we met at a local club. Let's just say the night was "memorable".... to this day  (11 yrs. later) they're still great friends.
