To those i havent seen to thank personally, Thankyou for your thoughts and comments,they were much appreciated  :) its what family is all about

17 years ago last march i brought home this tiny gray furball and his twin sister a tiny calico  Smokey and Sasha   yesterday afternoon we lost a battle with cancer and i had to put my buddy, my handsome cat, down :(  I had hoped the lesions under his tongue were the result of him biting his tongue and fighting off the infection that had arisen, but the infection only caused the lesions to get worse and the antibiotic only healed the bite wound,the cancer had manifested itself much deeper then either the vet or myself was aware of, he fought  a good fight  but yesterday his body began shutting down, around 4 pm i rushed him to the vet, hoping but knowing in my heart this was his last road trip :(   Ill miss my buddy  he was a good friend and like all animals showed unconditional love, often trying to be a lap cat when his 20 lb frame wouldnt let him and he'd lay on you and your legs would fall asleep. His sister Sasha  isnt long for this world either, shes already almost completely deaf and as blind, she sleeps most of the day now and barely gets up, when she does she meows constantly as she is also suffering from dementia and she's lost not knowing where i am even when she is laying with me, Their  Half brother Morris whos only 13 is so lost, I feel for him the most as smokey and he had a special bond ive never seen between two male cats. They say cats pick their owners and to most extent i believe thats true, I buried him under the butterfly bush where he would always lie. He was a dear friend and he will be sorely missed  Rest in Peace Smokey  my handsome cat  

Hi all    was just sitting back and thinking to myself about the last 50 yrs  Half a century  pretty impressive  by my standards seein as the marine docs all said id be dead by 35 if i kept burning the candle at both ends, I slowed down some but i still enjoy life as full as i can. Ive sat back and thought about everything id seen and done, from traveling some of the world, seeing some amazing sights, meeting some amazing people, to traveling the world of the internet now and meeting some amazing people, and finding the love of my life,  i can honestly say all bull shit aside the first 50 years of my life have been good, Kandie reminded me they say life starts at 50, Honestly i think who ever made that up suddenly woke up and got a clue,ive always said when asked " is the cup half empty or half full" how would i respond?  i always have answered " its just half a glass"    if i want more ill refill it, thats how i see the latter part of my life its just half a glass, and i keep refilling it , I thought id just share this to my friends  and again thank them all for being a part of my life,  some say words have no meaning on the internet, let me tell you, when all you have is words some times and you know the person you are chatting with is honest and sincere those words are the feelings and emotions you feel, thats why they become your friend    Be safe all and enjoy   i look forward to another 50 years :)

well i just got a very unexpected blog from my kandie girl. man she just makes me smile :)mmmmmmm  so i figured maybe its my turn, Thankyou Kandie girl for everything you are i cant say it any better :), Now  I also wanted to take this moment to wish all my friends, both old and new and those to be, a Happy and wonderful safe and special Id say Holiday but im not very pc  so im gonna say Christmas and Hanukkah and all the other words they call christmas and such and may it be bright and fruitful for you all
