to my own detriment, how i came to be in this exact place in life. What could i have done or said differently. Would i still be in the same place? I stare into my closet at the half a dozen fancy blouses that ive yet to wear waiting for that special night out, that romantic dinner, that moonlit walk on the beach, with that great guy who will just magically appear or with any current guy who always lowers my expectations regardless if i had any to begin with. Expecting to hear those 3 little words....."You look beautiful"...."I miss you"....but never "I love you"....what are you, nuts??!? This is my life, not some Lifetime movie of the week or The Notebook for godsakes. How did i get here? Why would i expect he would want to get laid after spending 2 weeks in some shit hole country with no form of govt or even running water sharing a room with 2 other guys and come back to civilization for what? To get free pussy!?!? Certainly not! He's sick and his head hurts (not that one) and "i need to take a nap!" Silly me, i should've just attacked him and just had my way with him, like how i thought he would be with me. <sigh> Maybe youre too busy to be in a relationship i ask. "Nope, iam good". Umm ok. But of course that was a month ago and you know how quickly feelings change and the balance of power. Ugh iam 35 and iam exhausted. When will this shit stop? Iam tired of dating, iam tired of dealing with cowardly lions. How many times can a person be cursed?? Sometimes it pays to be a psychotic bitch cuz men LOVE crazy bitches!!!
