WHY do I keep getting emails from people with the subject

LOOK AT THIS...

they usually have no pic on their profile and its a link to upgrade or some other page

I thought that was called SPAM. Is this happening to others?

In Australia  our National Health system is called Medicare but in the USA is called Medicaid... but the same applies so Im told....

The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, 'Hello.'

'Mrs. Sanders, please.'


'Speaking'

'Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor James at Saint Agnes Laboratory.

When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a
biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now
uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way
the results are not too good.'

'What do you mean?' Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.

'Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's

and the other one tested positive for
HIV. We can't tell which is which.'

'That's dreadful!
Can you do the test again?' questioned Mrs. Sanders.

'Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these

expensive tests once and once only.'

'Well, what am I supposed to do now?'

'The folks at Medicare recommend that you drop your

husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If
he finds his way home, don't sleep with him.'

I recently posted this answer to a question posed by another member as to whether or not BBW/SSBBW actually enjoy being the size they are. I guess he was curious as to the motivations of some of us larger folk... so me being my usual candid self when it comes to my size... posted this.  I re-posted it as many people didnt get to see the original blog.. or comment on it.

Yes, I am an SSBBW... or super sized big beautiful woman. In some terminologies that would be translated to a mega fat chick or medically termed as morbid obesity.

Now I have covered the technical side of it, I'll address your other questions.

Quite frankly, I dont think anyone really wants to be this size. If they are those who choose to gain weight to impress someone I think they are either in denial or slightly mentally unstable. While I can truly say I believe some women this size can still be very sexy, I think that has more to do with self esteem and the way they project their personality & their own ability to look after themself.

I cant honestly believe that anyone wants to live with being an SSBBW as it is so detrimental to your health & brings on diabetes, stress on joints & arthritis, can cause sleep apnoea & breathing difficulties & increased risks of cancer & other medical conditions. Apart from the sheer physical stress & the exhaustion it can cause carrying around such a large frame it can lead to depression & lack of self esteem due to total non acceptance in the mainstream community.

The hardest part of living as an SSBBW is the peer pressure on men who are turned on by bigger women. They often live in the closet so they arent ostracized for not chasing the "trophy" slim girl they can take out in public & show off for their buddies to envy. It can be soul destroying when a man wants to be with you, is turned on by you & wants to be your lover.... but on the other side of the coin, he doesn't want anyone to know he's involved with you or wont be seen in public with you.

It's taken me the biggest part of my 43 years to be able to look inside & say " I Like the person I am inside" and the outer shell is just the package I am in. The outer me is changeable but you have to go the journey of accepting who you are inside before you can change the outside.

In many cases, the visual symptom of obesity masks the underlying causes. Sadly, because the sypmtom IS so visible, society can be harsh in judging us.

Personally, I never want to be a model sized woman that society dictates is NORMAL. I'd prefer to have the curves & be who I am provided my priorities are correct

#1. HEALTHY.. to look after mysef & my family.

#2. HAPPY.. to enjoy every day I am alive.

#3 HAVE SOMEONE HONESTLY LOVE ME FOR THE PERSON I AM

So, I'd be deliriously happy to just be on the cuddly side of being a bbw instead of the larger end of the scale. I am a confident person, I am well presented & have the courage of my convictions. What others think of me is not my highest priority but being accepted is important to us all.. no matter our size.

I swear I am going to use this damn  PC as a boat anchor.....

for some reason it wont load the chat room applet thingy... or whatever you call the technical bullshit name for it.  Cant you see I got my I.T. degree out of the cornflakes packet..?

I have tried several times to get back in there to give you all a good shake up in the BBW room  but  no such luck.  Trying to check if it's some kind of upwardly type of fornication on my end... or perhaps the wonderously incompetent numbskull at the keyboard trying to operate the system.

I'll keep trying til I get there... but in the meantime... in the words of the infamous Jeff Fenech (boxer) "I LUV YOUSE ALL"  & thank you all so much for your well wishes & words of encouragement. I am getting better & taking my coumadin (warfarin as we call it here) everyday, thanks Shannie :)  its finally stabilised & blood tests are down to one a week. YAY  no more pincushion...

no.. I did not go into hiding or basically ignore everyone who contacted me to ask where I'd gone.

I suffered a blood clot in my right lung & am still in the process of ridding it from my system with all those wonderful blood thinning medications
