 Looks like I'm getting into a whole new situation here - being Poly. Met a guy that lives out in Boston who has a girlfriend&they are in an Open Relationship. He's REALLY nice/cool/funny/sweet/sexy/intelligent - blah blah blah! LOL!!  His gal is dating a woman who lives in my city too. I have never EVER classified myself as being Poly. Just always had lovers when I had a main Boyfriend. Kept the old lovers even after I married my husband, but this situation is different. I've emailed "Vlad"s girlfriend (he got the nickname after giving me a HUGE hickey on the left side of my neck - HEHEHEHEHE!!! ) and she seems nice enough. I know I should be happy about this, but I'm actually kinda confused. Vlad's said that anything WE talk about is private between us, but he DOES tell the g/f about me&some of the stuff we email about (no - we haven't had sex yet). I've asked both Vlad & the hubby to email one another to somewhat get to know one another. Both have stated they both feel kinda awkward about doing that. As to WHY I don't know. I can admit I don't know WHAT to say to Vlad's girlfriend via email. No, the hubby has no interest in possibly swinging with them let alone meeting them face to face. I've read many websites that are for Poly people, and have ordered 2 books about Poly relationships (haven't received them yet). I'm just wondering about the Love factor. I am In-Love with my husband, but do I have to be In-Love with Vlad? How much should I keep in touch with Vlad? On a daily basis via email? Maybe emails & a phone call once a week? I'M SO CONFUSED!!   So - if ANYONE who reads this is Poly could you comment about your experiences & situation (past & present) I'd appreciate it  Loverman20088

Ft.Hood,TX shooting. The minute CNN got the shooter's name - which is Arabic - they IMMEDIATELY started to STRONGLY HINT that the shooting was driven by his ideaology. WTF!!!!! Ok, so if my name was say Jewish&I did this then it would be hinted I did the shooting in reaction to the Palestinian problems in Gaza? What if my name was German - would some media viper say that I was an ant-Semite? Oh how the Media is going to feed at this story for months on end...
Now don't get me wrong - yesterday's shooting was INSANE, and yes - that guy seems to have MAJOR psych issues. From what the major media outlets are telling us he did counseling for troops coming back. No wonder he lost his mind!!! Goodness knows what horrific stories the troops were telling him. And with the high rate of suicides at the place in recent months - which no doubt he probably knew some of those people - it would make ANYONE - trained professionals ARE people too - lose their minds. When ARE the troops with PTSD & other major psych issues going to get the help they need? When are those who help the troops going to get help? My brother was in 'Nam & never got the help he needed. He's as tight as a drum when it comes to being mum about what he saw over there. When will Humanity's insane lust for War going to end??? You can not kill Hatred. I flows from one person to another. You kill a body, but the next Mind takes up the thoughts. If the US Government REALLY thinks that being the world's police force is going to make ANYONE "safe" from whatever they deem 'evil' then we'll be invading more countries & having occupying forces across the globe for the next century. We are all from Africa

 I don't know WHAT to DO anymore let alone WHAT to THINK anymore about this issue. Someone I know really well at my office is a Racist. I don't work directly with her, but she is on my floor&some weeks I commute in with her to the office (her daughter goes to a school 2 minutes from my home). In the mornings around the school it gets VERY crazy with parents dropping off the kids;school buses all around, etc.etc.etc. My coworker has made MANY MANY comments about drivers who basically are clueless who do what they want - BUT - the comments include such terms as 'my theory is correct"; 'those people are so dumb!" and "Why do alot of 'them' go to this school? They must get aid". And all of the people she refers to are African-American. Since I've known her this is the first time in front of me she's made this disgusting comments & I don't know what to do. Overall she's an ok person (a bit loud; a bit bold;a bit bitchy - but who isn't at times, right?") and she's been super nice about picking me up in the morning. My gut tells me I SHOULD just tell her off & call her on the carpet for being Racist, but my Mind says not to because she COULD cause a snit at the office & make a stink about it. Excuse me for one second here - YOU FUCKING RACIST PIGS!! YOU ARE NOT EVEN WORTHY OF BEING CALLED HUMAN BEING!   Yet I've recently I've heard in the media how pretty much EVERYONE is a Racist to some degree due to our country's culture. I honestly can say I am not one since I judge people by content of their character & how they treat others. She's only 5yrs older than me so that 'well that's how she was raised' way of thinking is null & void (well possibly since I don't know if her parents were). Mine were, and thankfully my mother's Mother - Aola - wasn't & taught me about such things. I remember her telling "It does not matter what you have nor how much you have. What matters is having a clean body; a good heart & a brain to use that heart for good". I hope I've lived up to all of what she told me  I sure hope in this century Racism is wiped out. I know - you can't get rid of Hatred, but you CAN still have Hope  Thank you sooo much for the
