Just me
Women seeking men
While it's not a requirement, I do prefer to meet a man who has a motorcycle or at least likes motorcycles. I love HARLEY DAVIDSON motorcycles and meeting new friends. I just bought my first Harley, a 2007 vivid black Street Bob in May of 2007. I added the Voyager trike conversion kit which I lovingly refer to as "training wheels". LOL
I have a great sense of humor and am reasonably intelligent. I'm outgoing, a non-smoker, non-drinker and I do not use drugs. I don't have a husband, boyfriend, children or pets. That sure makes it easy to come and go as I like. I don't NEED a man to take care of me. That doesn't mean I'm not interested, I'm just not looking for a free ride. I do not want a married/attached/separated man. I'm NOT looking just for sex. I'm not interested in cybersex, swapping naked pics or talking trash to you. I'm not interested in a man young enough to be my child, so do the math. I want just friends only or a long term relationship. I don't want anything in between. I would love to correspond and chat with other bikers about bikes, biking, rallies, etc. Even if you don't have a bike, I'll still correspond with you as friends. Please don't send pictures of your dick. I already know what a dick looks like and I'm much too old to be shocked anymore. Those types of pictures show your lack of intelligence and will get you on my blacklist without so much as a response from me. I look forward to hearing from new friends. Good luck in your search here. Just me

Today I am thankful for laughter. Without it, I would have been dead loooong ago. Every time I get really down, the smallest little thing will happen to make me smile even for a few seconds. It's how I get through life.

Today I am thankful for a job. Small job that it is, 2 days a week and most days I only make $20.00. But that is $20.00 I didn't have before and I'm glad to get it.

Today I am thankful for my Mom and Dad. They brought me up with everything I needed and a little of what I wanted. We had discipline but we weren't abused. We grew up without the influence of drugs, alcohol and tobacco in our home. That left those choices up to us as adults. Our parents gave us a solid background to make the right choices in life and even though we didn't always make good choices, they love us unconditionally.
Were they, and are they perfect? No. Perfect parents don't exist. But we had damned good ones compared to some people I know. It's very difficult to give up my personal life and care for them now in their old age, but I treasure this time with them. Someday I will wish I had them back even for just a moment to tell them how much I love them. I try and remember to say that each and every night when I put them to bed like they were my children. If your parents are still alive, tell them you love them right now. Don't wait. You may not be as lucky as me to get the chance to say it and show it every day. Today I am thankful for...

I LOVED YOUR POST ABOUT THE MILITARY. MY 20 YEAR OLD NEPHEW WAS JUST DEPLOYED 2 WEEKS AGO TO SOUTHERN AFGANISTAN. HE SIGNED UP WITH THE MARINES WHILE STILL IN HS. THIS IS SOMETHING HE FELT WAS HIS DUTY TO DO. I SPOKE TO HIM THE NIGHT BEFORE HE SHIPPED OUT AND HE WAS SO EXCITED TO BE HEADED TO AFGANISTAN. I CRIED WHEN I GOT OFF THE PHONE BUT I SUPPORT HIS DECISION. HE WAS TO COME HOME NEXT JUNE BUT CALLED HIS MOM ALREADY AND TOLD HER HE SIGNED UP TO STAY 7 MORE MONTHS. AGAIN THANKS FOR THE GREAT POST.

everyone needs as many friends as they can get. you look like you would be a good one. if you would like another, try me on. please? your situation with your parents is both good and bad. good because they are both still with you. bad, since they are both declining. my dad died in 92, after gall bladder surgery. mom just wore out in 02 and stop breathing. each case was quite sudden, so there was no lingering, but neither my brother nor i was prepared for either event. i still think of things to ask them today. if you would like someone else to talk to, on top of all the others at your call, please consider me. i will be as supportive as i know i know how to be. now that i've reached the end, i realize that this probably should be done as a blog comment, but i am too lazy to redo it there. if you ever come to atlanta, we'll have lunch and you can collect some big hugs and soft kisses to the cheek.
