Amazon TS looking for platonic friends
TS/TV/CD seeking Friends
You may have read my first ad, well this one is totally different. As you may have guessed, I'm a truck driver. Therefore, in my travels I end up in various parts of this country. I would like to find some friends for strictly friends-related activities. (you should be interpreting this as: no sex of any kind, no making out, no romance)

There have been many times I've had a weekend off away from home and would have appreciated knowing someone in or nearby to hang out with, maybe show me around the area, go shopping with, go get a mani or pedi, etc. Primarily someone to hang out with and chat with and possibly show me around town (not like: "hey! check out this hottie I'm with!" more like "..and here's the downtown courthouse, it was built in 1885. Now let's show you the world's largest ball of twine!"

I'm open to men, women or TS/TV/CD. I'm open to married men or women ONLY if you bring your spouse along. I travel around the midwest, south and some western states. I don't travel at all to the Pacific Ocean-bordering states or to the Northeast (which includes any place from PA east and north)

Again, please understand there will no sex taking place, no romance, no cuddling. Strictly friends. Also keep in mind that I rarely drink alcohol so going out for drinks isn't a great idea.
Needle in a haystack
TS/TV/CD seeking men
Since I deleted my first ad prematurely I haven't written a new one since but figured perhaps I ought to.

I'm a 6'5" truck driving TS who is in the process of changing genders. SRS is my ultimate goal and I would hope the man who captures my heart will be supportive of my decision and be there for me every step of the way.

I'm looking for a guy who isn't a jerk, isn't emotionally needy and isn't possessive/controlling. Being over 6' tall is a plus and within the 27-40 age range would be nice but not required.

Candle light dinners? No thanks, I'm afraid I'll knock something over and set the tablecloth on fire.

Long walks on the beach? No thanks, I don't want to risk stepping on a sharp sea shell or a dead jellyfish.

I'm the type of girl who, after finding out some of your guy friends are coming over to watch a game, would most likely order some pizza and wings and head to the store to get some beer.

Needless to say, I'm a really sweet girl and I deserve a really good guy who appreciates and reciprocates, and accepts me for the way I am currently and supports me in my ultimate goal and looks forward to that as much as I do.

Being a truck driver I'm on the road several weeks at a time. I love my job but unfortunately cannot have passengers. Besides, I'm a girl, where would you put your stuff in the the truck? :)

Geaux on with your bad self
Monday, May 21, 2012
Seriously, I think people are overdoing the use of Geaux instead of Go. I see it everywhere! Anyway, hi, I'm in Lafayette LA. My truck is in the shop because yesterday it decided the A/C didn't want to work all the time. That was fine while I was driving. Once it went out, I pulled over, turned the truck off, turned it back on and everything was fine. Once it went out again, repeat the above.

However, the problem was at night. Once again it would do this and then I would wake up from the heat every hour or two, turn the truck off, turn it back on and then go back to sleep. Sucked!

So since it's horribly hot down here they said I could stay in a hotel while the truck is at the dealership so here I am! I already browsed profiles and saw no fun ladies within 180 miles to hang out with. :(

Anyway, pizza's here! Time to get caught up on some shows and then go to bed. The AC is so nice here in the hotel. :)

Don't panic!
Saturday, May 19, 2012
..I've just been home for a few days, that's why you haven't heard from me.
While home I got my face zapped, brows waxed, went to therapy aaaaaand got new glasses and new sunglasses. I'm working on the pics right now so as soon as they're done I'll get them uploaded so you can see 'em.

So I'm back on the road today and at the place I was picking up at I walked up to security and there was another truck driver there. We made small talk and then I went back to my truck. about 15 minutes later I was back up there getting my paperwork and the same driver was walking up. He scribbled something on a piece of paper and then handed it over to me. It was his name and phone #! He wants me to call him some time, tho he let himself down saying "You're probably married, huh?" I said no, just engaged. I'll bet he thinks I'm never going to call now. I was kind of surprised because this has never happened to me before so I didn't really thank him or comment on how bold that was to give his number to a girl he only talked to for about a minute. I didn't really feel a spark but should I at least text him in a few days even if it's just to say thanks but since we're both on a road a lot I don't think this is going to work out?

What's your potential?

(warning: transgender rant ahead)

Dear fledgling transgendered men and women,

I would like to talk about potential. More importantly, I'd like to talk about your potential.

At the beginning of transition, many of us wondered how we would look as women (or men as the case may be). Pre-HRT, pre-transition, boy mode pictures are an awful indicator how how you will look as a woman. In the majority of cases, how you look as a woman is light years different than how you looked as a man. Makeup does wonders. Hair color and styles do wonders. Clothes do wonders. Attitude does wonders.

How you're going to look as a woman is really only determined by how much dedication you have to learning about life on the other team. If you have the attitude that you're only going to transition if others think you're going to make a beautiful woman, then you're finished before you even started. Ultimately the goal of transition is to become a woman. Not a pretty woman, not an ugly woman, but a woman. Ask around to many of the ladies that have been here awhile. They don't care if they're seen as a pretty woman, an ugly woman or an average woman. They're perfectly happy just being seen as a woman!

There exists a spectrum of women, much like there's a spectrum of men. One one side you have the very pretty, drop-dead gorgeous model. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over here on the other side is the Wicked Witch of the West (from The Wizard of Oz), who's still considered a woman! Your goal should be to fall somewhere between those two extremes. It doesn't matter where you fall as long as it's between those two.

Your potential to do that depends on how much determination you have to look the part, act the part and be the part. If you don't invest the time and energy to learn this stuff, then you have no potential. If you're not motivated and determined, then there's no potential.

Motivation is the desire to want to do these things, to become what you want to be. To stop making excuses and get off your butt and do them.

Determination is the ability to continue persuing your dreams despite obstacles in your way. Facing challenges, overcoming them, learning from them and continuing on.

If you're both motivated and determined, then you have great potential.

If you're lacking both, you have zero potential.

What's your potential?

What a day!
Sunday, May 13, 2012
Okay, follow along on a map if you have to.
Today I started out in Carnesville, GA.
Then down to Monroe to deliver.
Then down to Madison until further notice.
Then over to Atlanta to pick up my next load.
Then down to Palmetto to deliver said load.
Then down to LaGrange to get an empty trailer.
Then back to Carnesville where I first started.
Not only am I at the same truck stop that I started from this morning, I managed to get the same parking spot! Then to go 3/3 I went into the diner and sat at the same seat at the counter as I did yesterday.

Aaaand today is Mother's Day so all lady CDL holders eat for free at participating TA and Petro locations. I had my free dinner tonight and they gave me a little treat bag with some salt water taffy and a chocolate covered cherry.  I heard another location had a special dinner tonight and was giving out free roses to the ladies. :)

There's something about Georgia
Saturday, May 12, 2012
...just being here, I want to unleash my inner southern belle. You know, put on a big flowy dress, grab a parasol and go a-strollin through the plantation gardens, sugar.

Best I can do right now is walk through the grass towards the truck stop and watch out for dog poop. :(
