I read the blog yesterday about him leaving. PLEASE STAY ECF!!! There are so many of us who sign on looking forward to your blogs and company in chat. Once in a while names get tossed out that are hurtful and make us wonder why a site thats supposed to be fun has stopped being just that.....fun. ECF you have taken us on your journey thru your poetry and your blogs and we have all come to care for you in our own fashion. Please leave a comment here or anywhere letting this gentleman know just how much we as a family care! Thanks and much love to you all!

So with the onset of new servers the rules of the site have changed. God people get over it! The amount of bitching going on and on about how its all about greed is whats driving people away from chat not the practice of charging for it! Every one of us has our reasons for being here. Some choose to go VIP and enjoy the full extent of the site for what it is, some either can not due to financial circumstances or wont and still get access to everything this site has to offer with the exception of some of the chat rooms. What ever happened to being thankful for what your GIVEN? I even got called the "C" word today cause I told a gentleman who felt that Maureen and Jayce were doing this out of greed to the point that they should and i quote "go dig ditches before they loose their home".... that if he didnt like it he should leave. Seriously? None of us expect to work for free. Hell the fact that from 1997 until  2012 this site has been for the most part free to all tells me that the powers that be haven"t even given themselves a Cost of Living Raise in 15 years! So if you want to bitch and complain in Entry Hall, take yourself to any of the other sites like this and see just exactly how much you have access to..........you will be lucky to even be able to see member profiles at other sites! To those of you who come in to chat and make it a better place I say awesome lets have some laughs. To those of you who want to complain you cant do this and that cause its not free.........Ive called the whambulance your ride is ready!

So many of you who know me know I have worked in what used to be my families business for the last 16 years. When my aunt passed she saw fit to leave the company to her new husband of 2 years who is 70 and has no business experience what so ever. Ok fine no problem I can work with that. What I cant work with is due to his lack of understanding both business in general and particularly THIS business I am forced weekly to sit down and try to explain the inner workings of the company and the dealings with the IRS. When he doesnt understand he just assumes Im stealing from him.............after two years of exact to the penny accounting to him to say its disheartening is an understatement. When my aunt died I was able to miraculously get him life insurance he technically wasnt entitled to.......no thanks for that at all. In the last two years my partner and I have dug this business out of the red and have it running in the black consistantly......no thanks for that either. If I didnt need this job so much to keep things going for my family I would have been gone years ago but part of me loves this place, Im vested emotionally and I keep hoping that things will turn around and be ok. Anyone of you who deals with the financial end of a business knows you have to have solid documentation for every cent in and out. This evades him. He has his sister in law.......a medical transcriptionist continually messing with the bank accounts for the company with out giving me any explaination or documentation. He doesnt think its necessary to let me in on what hes doing even though I am at the end of the day repsonsible for reconcilling all the accounts. I feel like Im banging my head against a wall and getting no where quickly. I know in my heart its time to look elsewhere but where I live is very rural and not much opportunity for work. I bring this place home with me at night, its affecting my family and my health daily and the shit part is..............I DONT OWN IT! I have no idea whats down the road for me I can only hope eventually I will find myself in a position where Im happy in my career. Thanks for reading...........like the title says....... Im just venting!
