So I'm home sick - yet again!  UGH!  (I'm surprised I've not been fired!)  Anyway, I'm scheduled for sinus surgery on the 29th of March and am looking forward to it... well, looking forward to maybe actually feeling good for once - lol!  I'm not having the traditional surgery exactly... it's the new balloon sinusplasty surgery which, from what I've heard and read, is MUCH better than the older method.  However, I do also have to have a septoplasty (to correct my deviated septum) - which I've been told sucks! 

So, anyone here have any experience with either of these procedures?  I'd appreciate your stories good or bad... though I'd MUCH prefer the good!  LOL!

So I've re-read my ad, and at least to me, it's pretty clear on what I'm NOT interested in.  My confusion lies NOT in the words I wrote in my ad, but in the emails I receive from men (mostly) who 'claim' to have read it and are interested in ... (insert everything I am not!) GRRRRRRRRRRR!

I do NOT even bother to respond to these emails, and then get the whiney, 'you could've had the decency to at least tell me you weren't interested' emails some time later.  Why?  YOU read my ad, yet chose to email me anyway - though you clearly do NOT want the same things I do.  You're fault... why do I owe you a courtesy reply?  Time is precious... I'm not out to waste anyones (hence the friggin ad people) - so why do certain people feel it's ok to waste mine then try and make me feel badly about it?  Do you think you may be 'the one' to sway me to change my mind?  LMFAO - not likely so!

I'm all up for chat... IN CHAT!!!!  No, I'm not interested in a NSA 'meeting' once in awhile behind/or in front of (heh!) your wifes/SO's back...

I absolutely despise the cold in my old age!  LOL!  With all the snow we're getting this weekend it is making me think REAL hard that when my lease is up (whenever that is) that I need to really consider moving some place warm, though the job front here is SO strong as compared to so many other places.  *sigh*

Is too short!  We always say it, yet responsibilities, frustrations, etc. always seem to get in the way of the important things and we seem to forget what really matters.  I learned today that a friend from years ago (that I've recently been reconnected with) passed away.  She was too young and had a very hard time with sickness, but she fought like hell to live, adopted a son and was determined to watch him grow-up.  I keep thinking of her wanting to see my skydiving video but I didn't have a way (or the time) to figure out how to convert the file so I could upload it to facebook... I finally did it the other day (though I've had the damn thing since April 12th), but I believe it was too late, I think she passed prior to ever viewing it.  A simple thing I could've done, but I thought I'd get around to it... there's always tomorrow...

I guess my point here is, there isn't always tomorrow.  Don't put the simple things off... make sure the people that matter to you KNOW just how much... try like hell to make ammends for things you've done wrong to people in the past (even if they don't want anything to do with you)... try to let them know how sorry you are and how much they truly mean to you - you may never get the opportunity to again. 

To my friends here, and you know who you are, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for all you've done for me.  You've made me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry... and let me cry when I couldn't laugh anymore.  I hope you know how much you mean to me...

Smile and love those in your life with everything you've got...enjoy this moment as it's the only one your guaranteed!
