Is too short!  We always say it, yet responsibilities, frustrations, etc. always seem to get in the way of the important things and we seem to forget what really matters.  I learned today that a friend from years ago (that I've recently been reconnected with) passed away.  She was too young and had a very hard time with sickness, but she fought like hell to live, adopted a son and was determined to watch him grow-up.  I keep thinking of her wanting to see my skydiving video but I didn't have a way (or the time) to figure out how to convert the file so I could upload it to facebook... I finally did it the other day (though I've had the damn thing since April 12th), but I believe it was too late, I think she passed prior to ever viewing it.  A simple thing I could've done, but I thought I'd get around to it... there's always tomorrow...

I guess my point here is, there isn't always tomorrow.  Don't put the simple things off... make sure the people that matter to you KNOW just how much... try like hell to make ammends for things you've done wrong to people in the past (even if they don't want anything to do with you)... try to let them know how sorry you are and how much they truly mean to you - you may never get the opportunity to again. 

To my friends here, and you know who you are, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for all you've done for me.  You've made me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry... and let me cry when I couldn't laugh anymore.  I hope you know how much you mean to me...

Smile and love those in your life with everything you've got...enjoy this moment as it's the only one your guaranteed!
