I have always liked Mountain Dew.  I like the taste.  I like the jolt of caffeine it gives me.  But my body has not like what too much Mountain Dew does to it.  So I try to limit myself to only one Dew a day.

However, sometimes I go off the wagon and I overindulge.  Who knows what will happen if this happens too often.

Looks like I will be moving on to another program at work.  I am really ready to move on from this current program.  Management is totally clueless.  The only ones more clueless are the hapless government customer.  I am thankful that I am moving on before my attitude goes totally to crap.  I love working where my contributions are recognized, where I feel I am making an impact and where I can solve problems.  But in jobs where those factors are not present, it is soul sucking.  And while there are parts of me that I don't mind being sucked, the soul is not one of them.

So wish me luck as I move to a new challenge....and thanks for the support and well wishes in the past.

Another week is done and I am so glad.  Now if the rains can stay away, I may get some much needed work done around my house.  A friend convinced me to watch her dog for a week and I need to mend my fence.  The things you do for (well, you know...)

So what did I do to celebrate St Patrick's Day.

I wore a green shirt!

I drank a Guiness!

I watched The Quiet Man, that ode to Ireland.  What a great movie!  And a marital manual to boot.  Maybe if I dragged my wife alll over Ireland and beat her regularly.....

Other than an annoying cough, I am feeling much better.

Drinking lots of fluids.....trying to get some exercise.

Hope the weather stays nice this weekend so I don't have a relapse.
