It seems odd having a long-distance love affair at 40. Isn't that something that the kids do? It's nice to be in love, wonderful to be loved, but damn, 1,100 miles is a terribly long way to be from a partner. It takes quite a lot of planning for us to get together, but of course anytime airplane travel is required, there is lots of planning involved. And of course its a secret affair, so that doesn't help at all. But who knows, maybe someday, someway, we'll find a place and time where we can be together ...

Damn. I hate to beat a dead horse, but is this winter ever going to end? For some reason I've decided that I can no longer wait for the revival of spring. I have great faith that once spring rolls in, I'll find my first great match. I am meeting a lot of great people here, however I'm still looking for a local couple.
