I so want to write about the U2 concert last night (not to mention the Black Eyed Peas...oh, wait, I just mentioned them...drat), but I am speechless. Literally, as it happens, I shouted myself hoarse!
The BEP were great. U2...phenomenal. The energy, the music, the songs, the sheer musical talent and genius.... BEP on stage for 1 hour...Bono and crew, 2.5 hours...60,000 adoring fans (with a few of us adorable ones thrown in :P ) So so inspirational..... My life is in this place of synchronicity, a confluence of desire and momentum, opportunity and fortune and fate... *knackered I am...and happy....very very happy...and enjoying the ride... Stage one of the "banner week" went brilliantly, I am happy to say. I was mistaken with respect to the male dancers....it was FIREMEN instead...omg....tall, fit and the kind of guys that like to jump into hot situations, all in various states of dress and undress...brilliant time was had by all...
Tomorrow night is U2 and Black Eyed Peas...cant wait. Then of course, Hallowe'en/Seattle on the weekend...super. What I neglected to mention is that coinciding with my banner week is my firm's week long annual fundraising for the United Way. For the first time this year, I am on the committee for the event, as part of my "steps" towards ... who knows! I'm just enjoying the journey. In any event, thus far it has been an incredible amount of work, while being incredibly rewarding. I have not had this much fun while working this hard for a long time... So...back to my banner week (yes, I am getting to the point...granted, in a very meandering fashion...lol). As part of the fundraising effort, my firm has decided to hold a draw for a day off with pay. To enter, you need to make your pledge online. Well...today's MOST worthy recipient of this fabulous prize??? lol Obviously someone else, however as they obviously neglected to make their pledge, my unworthy self has (somehow) managed to be the default position (and no, I did not draw the winning pledge myself...lol). I was so busy today, between doing my regular work, and my numerous fund raising activities, I had no clue as to why everyone was congratulating me! So... the upshot is...a day off with pay!!! Now just to decide which naughty someone to spend it with <grin> *happy I am*  nothing fancy here. I just think you are a totally sexy woman.I would really like to get to know you and be a friend to you.
