How Many People Care For Their Soldiers????
Wednesday, December 17, 2008

As you may all know, or not I am in Afghanistan. I went home for a little rest and relaxation a few months back and there were people holding up Anti War signs and protesting saying that the military men and woman should all die!!!!!......... I dont really care about that because we are the land of the free and all, it is just the fact that these people don't reallly know that without us over here fighting they wouldnt be able to hold that flag up and say that we need to die  and protest and and have the freedoms they have now these are probably the people that has to ask for help tying their shoes in the morning....... I just want to know how many people in the United States really feel this way.... The more i think about it the more it makes me mad, how many people care that we are fighting and dying for you? I am not being self centered this blog is not about me inperticular it is about everyone that puts on a uniform and calls themselves a soldier, marine, sailor, or an airman. I asked a few people how they felt while I was home and they just gave me the snooty attitude and walked away..... My dad tells me that it was the same way back in Vietnam..... noone cared then about the military men and women then and they dont now..... I am not saying everyone doesnt care but It seems more dont care than do.....   I am more or less not really posting this for any perticular reason just blowing some steam off... and im sorry if i offended anyone by this...... If you are one of these people dont write me...... Thanks Hammy

Retired Army here a grunt for over 28 years just wanted to say the people that protest like that are just about the only ones that get in the news (thanks to a liberal media) most Americans do not feel that way. May God bless you and keep you safe

Thank you for having the courage to be in the military. The highest esteem a citizen can achieve is to be called a Veteran. CP
